Meta ships changes to the Facebook SDK and the Graph API that break working Flutter apps. We track them because we maintain the plugin. When something breaks, we email you what changed and what to do about it.

Facebook SDK v18 shipped defaulting to Graph API versions Meta had already removed from production. iOS defaulted to v17.0, removed 12 September 2025. Android defaulted to v16.0, removed 14 May 2025. Requests are still served, just by whatever version Meta routes them to rather than the one your app asked for, and you get a deprecation email with a removal deadline. Meta still has not fixed it.
