We built the platform that connects farmers directly with buyers, takes cost out of every head sold, and brings price transparency to the agricultural supply chain.

The Challenge
Traditional livestock auctions in Australia are costly and inefficient. Farmers and buyers spend significant time and money traveling to physical auction sites, with limited price transparency across regions.
Our Approach
We built a mobile-first marketplace using Flutter for cross-platform delivery and Firebase for real-time data synchronization. The app features live auction capabilities, direct messaging between farmers and buyers, and transparent pricing data.
The Result
A first for settlement: eAUD used as the settlement mechanism in a live livestock auction, with online bidding wired straight through to CBDC settlement. The platform has been running since 2023 and is still in production with Fame Capital. Buyers pay 20% less for cattle, sellers keep more of the sale price, and both sides see what the market is actually paying.
